Hi - Quick question - has anyone experienced blurred vision while on Elavil (10mg) and Urelle (4x daily)? My vision is OK up close but it's hard to focus and is blurry a ways away.
I talked to a well-informed nurse of my uro and left a message with my other urologist, and the nurse advised me to stop the meds for a few days and see if it improved before proceeding, bc those were side effects associated with them. I feel like I've had slight blurriness before I even started them (maybe I needed glasses?) but that it's gotten much worse the past few days. I've been on those medications for about a month. I added in vesicare two times but that made me dizzy and made the blurriness worse, I think, so I don't take it anymore.
I have a detailed eye exam with an opthomologist on Tuesday afternoon to rule out eye stuff.
The reason why I'm concerned is the whole link between bladder and MS. I had the full work-up two years ago and was fine/clear, but always in the back of my mind I think there might be some link. But I guess I will wait and see if the med cutting back and vision check don't help.
