I wish my scanner was better. I just got the coolest invitation on the planet and feel so honored. Leslie's daughter, Bayleigh is going to be in a Cinderella pageant for hospice and needy girls who would not otherwise have prom gowns. What a neat idea and the invite is simply touching and beautiful. I just wish West Virginia was closer and I would be there. I got to really know the girls when they stayed at my place and helped with Lindsey before their cruise. They are wonderful girls and Lindsey really looked to Bayleigh as an older sister.

Is the cause accepting gown donations or are they rasing money to purchase gowns?

They are accepting both. They will be modeling gowns that have been donated already and be accepting other donations of both types.
Leslie will hopefully pop up with more answers.

Barb:)

Geesh Barb that came fast I just mailed that Tuesday. Pass this along to your local Hospice for me, the lady next to you who wanted to see the info
Yes they are excepting donations of gowns, which is what the girls will be modeling. THey will be sold at a rideculous price $10-$25 usually to girls who can't afford the high price designer gown in the shops. The funds raised go to Hospice and the nice gowns go to lovely young ladies who may not have gotten a chance to go to prom. Several of us mom are standing by to pay for girls gowns who absolutely can't afford the low price. We will make sure they get the gown no matter what.

Oh, what a great and wonderful thing to do for those girls. I bet they will feel like they are on top of the world in their pretty little dresses. I can only imagine the joy they will be feeling. That is so sweet for your daughters to be involved in such an awesome charity. :)

It is the Hospice care here in town, or you may check with your own local Hospice or high school to see if anything is going on like that in your area to help young girls out. Our event is April 12.
Here is the link to your HDB looks like it just ended but maybe Fairmont or somewhere closer is having one also. Just search Hospice care in WV
