I have noticed that during my period and when PMS is happening I am in more pain than normal. I do not want to take any birth control due to the fact my hubby and I want to have kids. Since I was diganoised only a month ago my meds have not begun to really work yet, and my doctor so no kids for at least 6 months. So what are some things I can do or take to help with this pain. Heating pads are not working. I already have pain meds, but I can not take them during the day due to it makes me so sleepy. Any advice would be helpful at this point. I just double up in pain and can barely stand up.

Sorry this is happening to you. I have the same problem and over the past three months we have tried to do continous birth control and it only made things worse as I too want more kids. I developed ovarian cysts and eventually had to get off of them. What helps for me is the heating pad, pain pill and you will just have to do trial and error to find the ones you can tolerate and valium suppositories. It helps relax my bladder and ease up on the pain. I hope this helps. I also have an IF stimulator that relieves the pain or at least makes it feel better.
