Find another doctor. It was completely irresponsible for them to use recalled med. They should have disposed of it. I wouldn't go back to them if it were me.

I had three instills filled a couple of months ago and used one. After that I read about the Heparin recall and called the pharmacy. They asked if I had used the prescription and of course I had used one of them. They said it was recalled and to through it away. They told me to call my doctor if I had certain symptoms. I cannot remember what symptoms. They never apologized or anything. In my case I really cannot blame the doctor. The pharmacist is the one ultimately responsible for filling recalled medications, I think . Not sure legally.
I was trying to se if heparin was available to use for instills yet from another company. Does anyone know?
