Hey guys, as most of you already know, I had a baby three weeks ago. Thanks for all of your thoughtful comments. :)

Call me crazy, but yes, we've already had sex, but ouch! I'm drier than the Mojave!! I read that breast feeding contributes to low levels of estrogen which leads to dryness. What can I do about it? We used that K-Y liquid (quite liberally) but it wasn't enough.

I saw an ad in a magazine for K-Y Liquibeads. Anyone used them?

Any other ideas of what to use? I don't think I can use estrogen-based creams b/c I'm breast feeding, but correct me if I'm wrong b/c I'm just guessing....

I'm hoping you can tell me of a product that will moisturize all day long....

Try astroglide or KY Gel. Summers eve makes a lubricant for vaginal dryness that you can use for all day relief .Don't use anything primarily water based for sex lubricant .It doesn't work well. I use preseed right now, ttc and preseed doesnt damage sperm. But when we are not TTC I like astro glide gel. It makes you very slippery/wet but doesn't have that oily feeling. If I get an after sex flare I use the summers eve all day long lasting vaginal lubricant. It gets the itchiness/dryness out.
What are you using for birth control. Dont believe the superstition that you can't get pregnant while breast feeding b/c YOU CAN. I know you love your baby to death bit doubt you want another one so soon

You are right about estrogen-based creams; they are not recommended during breastfeeding. Although, a good cream for when you are DONE breastfeeding that helps fix dryness is Premarin.

hdb1982 has some good tips, btw. :)
