meds for PMS

Anyone taking medication during pms ? Anyone feel their best the day they get their period ?

I don't take anything for pms unless it's some OTC pamprin or something similar. I feel terrible the first day of my period, and when I say terrible I mean TERRIBLE!!! I hurt from head to toe and I have terrible cramps. They are so painful I curl up with my hot water bottle or heating pad and plan on sleeping the day away. I literally just give up that day, and sometimes day 2 as well.

By day 3 or 4 I usually feel the best I feel all month. I sure wish that feeling would last a bit longer!
