I just like to vent that i had the worst PMS in my history the past two weeks and i am having the period from hell.....
so tired,,,in pain.....bladder upset too......can't feed myself enough.....well i get nausea too so i have been drinking boost....with water too......but i just need more and more.....
so much pain........:bonk::toilet::bonk:
well just like to vent that out.....
that prometrium really screwed me up and i only had one pill but its 100mgs so thats probably why, just too much for my body.....

I know how you feel. Sometimes with mine I get so ticked off about everything I should lock myself in a room and throw away the key until 5 days have gone by. :bonk: This period (just getting done with it) I had to control myself from throwing things. Even the cats were getting on my nerves but they weren't really getting on my nerves just my PMS nerves. Does that make sense? The mother cat will sometimes keep walking around my feet while I'm trying to walk and that doesn't bother me but it sure did this week. Wonder why PMS happens to begin with??? Hey, maybe the person who wrote Dr. Jekly and Mr. Hyde had a wife going through PMS at the time but back then they didn't know about it. :lmao: Hope you feel better now.

I hope you feel better. I can relate to the weeks of PMS and pain. I used to curl up in a ball sometimes my pain would be so bad, not to mention my bladder would flare also. I used to use the heating pad, that did help me alot. Are you on anything for pain? I hope you feel better soon. :) Lisa

Yeah i dunno.....the PMS was so bad for me and it has never been that bad....only when i was on the depo shot...so it was probably the prometrium was just too strong for me.....i was on it to stop the ovulation since that is what flares me.....:bonk:

Yeah i am better in my mind now....but having heavy bleeding and pain....
but at least i am not feeling like i need to yell at everyone for no apparent reason.....so i hope next month won't be this bad....not going to use the prometrium and see how that is.....:tsk::rolleyes:

Hi, before my hysterectomy, I tried the Lupron, I had such bad side effects from that, I only got 2 shots, I was SO sick from that, its like it takes care of one problem and then it adds a bunch of other problems, thats how I looked at it cause it made me so sick! I could not eat. I felt horrible. Its like they were trying to control my bleeding and pain and I was then suffering with all the side effects from the shot. But as you said, you never know how you will react until you try. I am glad your feeling a little better. :)

Just to let you know, 100mg is the standard dose for the depo shot. It does take a few times of using it before you get your periods to stop and you'll stop ovulating. As with most meds, there are side effects, but the long term results of the depo are usually worth it in the long run. After such a short time your body hasn't had time to adjust to it yet. Just a thought....

Sorry if it seemed i was on the depo shot(haven't been for 8 years just saying that its the only other thing that made me this crazy)
the prometrium is the thing i tried....it was 100mg....its a natural progesterone...
and it totally screwed me up....

Sorry, I did misunderstand! :bonk: I also double checked the dose of the depo shot and it's 150mg! I was off just a tad! LOL It's been quite a while since I've given that shot. Don't know what's happening to my memory lately.
