not sure where to put this, but I also suffer from sever migraines.. have for years.. I have tried so many preventative meds with nothing really working.. I was wondering about topamax.. if anyone tried it, and if it helped with the bladder at all too

I also have suffered from Migraines.. I was put on Topamax for my bladder but the added benefits is I have only had one Migraine since I have been on Topamax and I have been on it now for about 9 months..

I am currently on tofrinol/imipramine 75 mig.. was put on it for migraines.. but still have a few a week.. how many mg of topamax do you take, and do you take sometihng else with it.. I might call my neuro tomrrow and ask for some

What kind of pain did the Topamax help? Can you describe it to me? I'm trying to figure out whether to talk to my doc about Topamax or Lyrica.

I am on 50 mg of Topamax. It helps with the shooting pains I was having with IC.. It was not bladder spasms but just hard stabbing shooting pains. My GYN is the one who prescribed it for me because we did some researched and it was shown that Topamax had also been helpful with Diabetes patients who suffer from nerve pain. So since it has successfully worked for me I would assume what I was feeling was nerve pain.
