I tried Elavil (did the study for it, in fact) and it did help me for long term daily pain control. But I started having heart racing side effects, and had to discontinue it. After about a year, I tried it again, but after only a couple weeks, I woke up in the middle of the night with my heart about to pop out of my chest and pain in my chest - OMG! I had to stop it then.

I would really like to find something that would work as well for me without that kind of a side effect! Is there such a thing??

Thanks
Janice

I can't take elavil either. There are others you might be able to tolerate.
