Weighed myself yesterday morning and I had lost 3 pounds in one day. Weighed myself this morning and I gained 4 pounds in one day AND I had salad for supper last night. Gained 4 pounds from eating weeds. I give up on the weight thing. I have to some how get my mind off of that and get on with life. I did go back on the cymbalta this morning but the 20 mgs not the 30. I am so weak, tired and acking this morning again I don't feel like doing anything but go back to bed. Plus I woke up in the middle of the night with another one of my headaches so didn't get much sleep. Sure do miss the days when I could lose the weight easily. :( Why do we women judge ourselves on how fat we are too?????? :hmm:

A three pound weight gain in one day is almost always from fluid retention (I can tell if my tissues are retaining fluid if my rings are snug) from too much salt. We had dinner out last night and my weight is up this morning. One thing you might consider is weighing yourself only once a week. It can take two or three days for a food to add a fraction of a pound to your weight. Hang in there.

I was going to say the same thing as Donna!! ;) If there was that big of a jump - either way - over night, it's definitely water-weight sneaking in!! It happens to me as well. I too can tell the way my rings fit - ugh. And I also go through it quite regularly around my period and PMS time too. GRRRR!!! It's definitely annoying to say the least, but at least it's temporary!!! hee hee hee!!!!! :)

When I was doing that up and down thing on the scales, it was my scales that was causing it. It was not working correctly. We bought new and now it is pretty consistent. Maybe that is your problem, too.
