It's a long story but I found out the neighbors who left their cat behind that I took in were going to kill her! Not by nicely putting her to sleep (If that can be nice) but by just shooting her!  I am so upset over this. Shows what kind of people they are and can only imagine what kind of life their kids will have. I'm glad they left her behind. Maybe she knew enough to stay away while they took months to move out? I do know now that my purpose in life was to take care of animals no one else would. I was not supposed to have human children but little 4 legged furry children. I also know why she did some of the things she did when she first came in the house. I don't understand those people!! They had her declawed and left her outside which was bad enough but she is a beatiful friendly cat. She lays on my lap, stomach and even stretches out to sleep lenght wise on me which means we are face to face but you couldn't ask for a better cat and I have fears of them but not her or the others anymore. I am soooooooooo glad I took her in. She will have a happy life now. That just really ticks me off.

Oh my gosh!!! Mary, I can't believe some people - why not take the pet to a shelter if they can't/don't want to keep her?? I am soooooooooooooooooooo glad she found her way into your life! I've always said that any pets I have will have to find me - that means they need me and a good home. None of the cats I have ever had have I actively sought out - they all somehow found me.
Nermal is so lucky to have you!!!!!!!!

It is a shame people can be SO cruel to animals. Things like that really get my blood boiling.. I am glad you rescued her though.. Now she can have a happy life!

They sound like such cruel people. Thank God they moved and thank God the cat is now with you. I know she will be loved and taken care of. You are a true little angel

That is just awful. I think putting animals donw is sad all together, even in the situation that the animal is sick and that is the best option for them. The cat is ucky to have found you.

That is why I wouldn't give the kittens away. Just could not throw them out into the world. I have seen so many abused animals even in the family. I see it now that they came so I could live and I was here so they could live. It all equals out in the end and it all makes sense now.
Ronda, did you have your hair done? It looks good.

Mary, My MIL does my hair she is a hairstylist. But unfornatanly I have not had it done in awhile, scared to since I am still loosing hair from the Elmiron. And I have been off it for 3 months now.. But as soon as it stops falling out I am going to have it highlighted again..

Everytime one hears about the cruelty of mankind, along comes an angel like you who knows her purpose and gives unconditional love and care to the little ones that need it most. I am an animal lover and own a cat and a chihuahua and I LOVE them completely. They make me smile every time I see them or touch them. God Bless you for being there for His creatures.

JustaPenny, Thank you for such a kind saying. It makes me want to cry.
Thank you all for the kind words and caring about my little ones. Why can't the world be like all of us? The world would be such a nice place. :grouphug:
I was thinking last night in bed now that they know she is here can they legally take her away? I would fight all that I could but I know they could say they didn't know where she was and we had her kept up in the house which isn't true. Didn't bring her in until cold weather and then she still goes out to walk around but I can't prove that. Of course a lot of cats look the same too but I can't prove I have had her longer then what I have. No vet bills for proof.

I don't think so :smile tee - and besides, they obviously (grrrrr) didn't want her so, they're probably just happy to not have to deal with it anymore. Mean people make me so mad!
Boy am I glad you have her!!!!!!

Mary...I don't think you need to worry about that. If they had wanted her they wouldn't have thrown her away.
