Does prelief work at all for alcohol? I'd like to be able to toast at my wedding with something more than pear juice! smile.gif

I suggest you try it ahead of time just in case, but I did have a glass of champagne at a wedding reception after taking two Prelief and I got away with it.

I love prelief and dont' know what I'd do without it....yes, when I want a glass of wine with a dinner when we go out..i just put in my IC or take the pills......it works!!!

I am very happy to report that I use prelief almost every weekend with alcohol and it works 9 out of 10 times. Good luck!

Hi Marissa,

I seem to have had good luck with Prelief and alcohol - although I have a drink maybe 3-4 times a year. One caution, though! I put the powder in a glass of beer and the darn thing foamed up, over the glass, and all over the counter. By the time it was all over, there was probably about 1/4 of a beer left :-) Probably better anyway, but it was something to watch!!

We recommend taking the Prelief tablets when drinking alcoholic beverages or soda (for that very reason). Also in certain acid beverages such as wine, you simply do not want to remove the acid before you drink because of the loss of taste in wine if you do.
