I am wondering if anyone else experienced what I am having right now. I had the cysto/hydro on Tuesday, and today its Thursday, but I am having a really strange ouchie pain in my lower left side of my abdomen (I think it started in earnest yesterday). I am wondering if it might be from where the biopsy was taken?
I am kinda in a vicodin fog, but can still feel the ouchie. I slept most of today with a heating pad, but keep wondering if this is just a normal pain or something else. I am taking augmentin, so it's pretty unlikely that I am getting an infection... right? :help:
Thanks for your suggestions and advice.

I had some pain for a few days. If it continues, I suggest you call your doctor.

I was in pain for a few days. I had a three day weekend after I had mine done, and I felt better after the three days. If it continues, I would call the doc. I hope you feel better soon!

I had increased pain in general for about a week after my hydro/cysto. After that then I was pretty much back to my pre hysto/cysto symptoms. If it is something that is really worrying you or it doesn't go away then I would give the dr a call who did the procedure just to make sure everything is okay.

I usually only have pain the first day, other than that, I do pretty good. I agree with the others, that if the pain continues call your doctor. Hope you get to feeling better.

A huge thank you to everyone who answered my question regarding "did you have pain after your bladder biopsy?"
My uro upped my augmentin, upped the flowmax, and added celebrex... WOW. And as of two days ago, I am off the vicodin!:woohoo:
I am feeling MUCH better! Thank you for all your advise, support, and encouragement! I can't tell you how nice it was to know that there are other people who have gone through what I am currently experiencing!
Thanks! As bad as it may sound, it really is comforting to know you are not alone.

i had pain for about 2 weeks after my hydro. So just be patient but if the pain gets really bad you might wanna check with your doc.
