I just want to apologize on whatever i wrote the last week just in case i might have offended anyone since i realize i weaned off the effexor too fast so i went a wee bit crazy in my thinking so i might have said something i shouldn't....
I am sorry if i did.....
Now that i am back on it and may wean off of it but first recover from that because that was just awful......:bonk::loco::rant:
so sorry if i did offend anyone...i was not thinking right at all....i almost signed myself in into the mental hospital but then i thought oh it might be because i weaned off of it too fast and yep i did......
so my great combo for right now is 75 mg of effexor for my depression and help me from going off the deep end...:bonk:
and 50 mg of elavil to help make the painkillers work by either taking the edge off or actually killing pain
imagine that----a painkiller killing pain :bonk::lmao:
well just thought to put this out there....
do not wean off effexor too quick....that is what i learned
take great care
hope all are not going crazy like me
hugs n better mind and body days
:hi:

Oh wow, I'm sorry you had such a hard time trying to stop the effexor. I didn't personally notice anything that you said that would have offended anyone but many of us know what it is like when meds make us crazy so we can relate to you being different when coming off of a med. When I upped my neurontin by doubling my night time dose a couple of months ago per my dr it made me so sleepy that my husband swears that I slapped his hand away when he tried to hold my hand when I was asleep. I have no memory of it whatsoever and told him it was from the meds and I can't be held responsible for what I do when I up a med really fast like that.

I am glad you are doing better now. It can be tough sometimes to go off a medication. You should always work with your Dr. through the withdrawl process.

Jolene is right. You should never stop a medication without talking with your doctor.

I am really sorry to hear you had such a tough time going off the meds.. there was a night I skipped my imipramine, and I felt like I was going to dye the whole next day... it was aweful
