How often?

I'm wondering how many times you need to take Prelief while you are drinking a cup of coffee. I don't drink it all at once, and am wondering how you take it.

Dear Lesli:

We recommend taking at least 2 Prelief tablets with every meal and snack. Because tolerance to food varies as does the acid content of food you may find that you need to use more tablets than the recommended amount.

Prelief works on the acid in the food or beverage. If you are still drinking the coffee after 20 or 30 minutes (at which time the stomach empties and the Prelief will be gone), you will probably need to take additional Prelief.
