Has anyone tried prelief with soda? I put prelief right in my coffee so I tried it with a soda once and it fizzed right out of the top of the can. I guess I forgot about that because I was CRAVING a soda yesterday. I had some left from a party and a took a prelief (well, maybe two) and drank the soda. A few minutes later it bubbled right up out of me like it had in the can. I threw up. and up and up. Soda and pop rocks came to mind.

That's funny! Maybe next time, take the Prelief first with water...then drink your soda.
(It's kinda the same reason you don't put alka-selzter in anything but water.)

Okay --- I confess --- I put some powdered Prelief in some champagne at a wedding reception. I think my red face must have lit up the entire room. Fortunately I had a plate in front of me and could set the glass on it until the fizzing stopped.
Then, and only then, did I read the label thoroughly --- it sez right there not to use in carbonated beverages.

cool.gif NO! THROWING UP IS NOT FUNNY cool.gif
Altho what came to mind is that back in 6th grade somebody always made one of those idiotic erupting volcanos for the science fair...no need to use vinegar and baking soda folks. Technolgy in the 21st century now allows us to use Mountain Dew and Prelief! wink.gif

Well, I'm glad I made everyone's day. It IS pretty funny. I am a space cadet. I'm also a Health Inspector and I enforce proper label usage. Guess I'd better try what I preach.

Dear Patrice:
We recommend taking your Prelief with some water prior to drinking soda, wine, or other alcoholic beverages.

Well Christine I'm glad you dug this post up because I've been craving root beer for some reason and I promised myself that as soon as I feel good enough I'd have my root beer with a few Preliefs. Guess that's not the best idea! If we take it with water first (you can see I haven't quite given up the idea!), I wonder how much in advance you take it? Just right before as long as it's with water? I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try...
