I'm a grandma again!

My daughter had her baby girl today. Weighing in at 7 lbs 3 oz. and 20 inches long. She has blond hair and blue eyes. My daughter was in labor for over 12 hours and it took her 2 hours to push her out. My daughter had some kind of infection during labor and had a temp of 103 which caused the baby to have a very high heart rate causing the baby to poop inside of her. They had to finally use suction to get the baby out. It was very intense! My daughter was crying and I was crying and then when she would scream then I would too! She was so very relieved to get that baby out of her! The baby is such a doll!:smile tee

My daughter had a bm inside me too. When they told me I couldn't hold her right away b/c they had to clear her lungs, I thhink every once of life I had drained from my body for a slight moment. It was very scary and I cried so hard I made myself sick. she was on my chest within 5 minutes and hasn't had any respritory problems since. I am glad both are doing well. Enjoy her, what is her name?
