I am receiving a lot of calls from IC patients regarding Prelief availability and I noticed in previous postings that you also mention having difficulty locating Prelief in your area, especially the 120 tablet size. All Walmart stores now stock Prelief in the 120 size for $8.84. You will find it on the bottom shelf or the shelf above it (in the antacid area).
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you cannot find it. I have a listing of all the stores and amount of Prelief in stock.

That's great! Are any of the Walmart stores carrying the granules? I find them much easier to use.

By the way, it's nice having you here to answer our questions.

Thanks Donna!

Unfortunately none of the stores have Prelief granulate on their shelves because most people prefer the tablets and they stock whatever sells best. However you can ask the pharmacist or store manager to order it for you....they can get it from their wholesaler. (And it is always available direct www.prelief.com (http://www.prelief.com) or 1-800-994-4711)

Betty,I just found them at the Walmart in Salem,New Hampshire(120) same price as yours. This Walmart now was turned into a Super Walmart(Open 24/7)I just love this one stop shopping, and a bathroom.(its those little things in life that I love)Donna,i have not been able to get the granules.I wonder if I should suggest that to the Manager?Hope all is okay with everyone?I have not been posting a lot lately because I have been running back and forth to the hospital for my uncle(he is dying)and now he has been transferred to a Nursing Home/Rehab only 3 blocks from my house)We will be bringing him home in a little while since we have now put the air conditioning in and Hospice will be there to help us.My Neuro has already yelled at me for taking too much on because my OMG has worsened and I have to be home for at least a week and then we will go from there.I know I was stupid, not taking my meds on time, not eating properly(had a small MG crisis+ that reqally scared me!Not being able to swallow/slurred speech/abd pain/nausea.I have to learn to pace myself but that is not me.Guess I will have to try harder.Gentle hugs to all. delores saulswife@yahoo.com

Dear Ragsmom:
Glad to hear you found Prelief at your Super Walmart. They are selling the 120 tablet size for $8.84 which is really reasonable. Our suggested retail is $11.99! As I told Donna, nearly all the stores carry Prelief tablets because they are much more popular than the granulate. However some stores will order the granulate for you from their wholesaler or you can purchase direct at www.prelief.com (http://www.prelief.com) or call our toll-free number, 1-800-994-4711.

I hear you! We are anxious to have Prelief available in Canada; there are so many IC patients (from Canada) ordering direct on a
regular basis. Prelief is a dietary supplement, but Health Canada does not like the name Prelief because they feel it sounds like a drug.
We are still working on it and hopefully Prelief will be available in Canada in the not too distant future.

Thanks for letting us know, I have looked in past off and on at Wal Mart for pre-lief and could not fined it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that when I go tomorrow it will be there as you say..
Thanks again, cathy :)

Betty,

So what you're saying is that Prelief is available in all American Wal Mart stores...

How long in the future do you expect Prelief to be available in Canada? I know that Health Canada is tight on many things (for example Benecol is still not sold in Canada) and likes to wait and see how many products do in other countries before permitting their sale in Canada.

Thanks, Liisa

Liisa:

I wish I could tell you exactly when Prelief will be available in Canada, but I can't. I can tell you it will not be available before the end of the year.
