still having frequency after hydro 5 days ago

Should I be seeing some relief from frequency after the hydro I had 5 days ago? :toilet: I also had the laparoscopy with a ton of adhesions removed.

Some people find relief with the Cysto with Hydro (C&H) but for me personally...I'm a wreck for at least 7 days and the following week is slow improvement back to where I started from. They don't really worsen my symptoms, but they really don't improve them either....but again, that's just me.

I believe ICNDonna gets great results from them, but as for when she sees results I'm not sure...Hopefully she'll see this thread and respond.

Hang in there, I'm sure it'll improve within a few days :)

I never did get any relief. The Cysto/Hydro worsened my IC..

I had the same results as Ronda. My pain, frequency, urgency and bleeding all increased and never got better.

I never had bad pain from the Cysto Hydro, so I was kind of surprised when the docs kept me overnight for pain control. It could be that the Cysto Hydro helped the pain, but not the frequency. I probably had a ton of anesthesia that hadn't wore off yet. I did have low blood pressure though which is normal for me after any type of surgery. I will give it a few more days.

If they loaded you up with IV fluids you may be peeing out fluid that you didn't actually drink so it may seem like a lot of frequency. I was doing the Jenny Craig program and got on the scale the day after a hydro (I had a ride to the appointment) I was up like 8 lbs. I was devastated, thinking it was my lack of exercise due to the timing of the procedure, until somebody said. How many bags of water did they put in you? Aha! The culprit. If you stayed overnight and had a blood pressure issue, they probably pumped you up good. Check it out when they give you their findings at your post op appointment. I find the water thing fascinating because I have been having fairly regular hydro's since 92 and never really thought much about the extra fluid. I hope your frequency calms down soon, and you find yourself on a nice easy path to recovery.
