After several years of my interstim not working I am finally having it removed on Monday. Also the doctor is going to do the hydro and bladder byopsy. another doctor had put the device in and then retired and left the state. This doctor who I have seen several times and then quit going to him because I felt so frustrated . finally I went back and he started talking to me about being sure this is what I wanted. I said Yes please it did not work I still have leakage up several times a night. I want it out so finally he agreed. So it will be gone and my problems will still be there but oh well at least I will not have this thing in me that is very uncomfortable.

it don't work it dont need to be there. I am sorry it did not help you at all, but very glad your doctor agreed to remove it. Ask if he can remove the leads, there is a possibility that there may be too much scar tissue to remvoe them.
good luck tomorrow :grouphug:

Do you have any idea how long it takes for "too much scar tissue" to build up before they can not remove the leads?

Thanks
