Is an amythest ring, my birthstone, with diamonds around it in a really pertty gold setting!!! I freaked out. It was SO unexpected and so sweet. I wasn't in the mood to go out to dinner last night so Tom went and picked up seafood from our favorite seafood restaurant.

I couldn't have asked for a better evening! How was everyone else's special day?

My boss, knowing that my husband passed away recently, gave me two carnations from her bouquet from her husband. I thought it was so very nice.

Your husband, Sandy, sounds like a gem himself. He knew that you were sad about your kitty and wanted to do something sweet and he did just that. I just love it! And lobster to boot!!:smile tee

That sounds like a very pretty ring and what a nice gift. We have been so broke that we didn't really do anything on Valentine's Day. Oh well we drove to the dr for me to get two nerve blocks and a Lupron shot all in my butt, now doesn't that sound like fun, lol.
We did get our income tax refund today though so Shane suggested that we go out to breakfast at this place I've been wanting to try called the French
Toast Factory. Boy do they live up to their name, I've never seen so many variations on french toast. It was so yummy so that was kinda like for Valentine's day just a day late. We did have Griffin who threw up all over the place right at the end and MIL with us so I think sometime soon we're going out to dinner just the two of us because we never get to do that. I hope everybody had a very nice day with their sweeties.

how sweet, its not my birth stone but it is my favorite stone. he was a real sweety to surprise you.
