I am a huge believer in a Birthday month myself! Just ask my family! My mom started it when my brother and I were little. She would give us something each morning on the month of our birthdays. Nothing of any cost, just things like a sweet note or a package of gum.

Thank you Mary!!!!!! I don't mind a few days early at all, so far - honestly, today has been the best Birthday ever!!!!! hee hee - even though it's not "official" yet!!!! I was going to come here to share my great day, and Mary - you've given me the opportunity to do so!!

So, here goes!

I get to work this morning and my partner's girlfriend (whom I just love, my partner is my ex-husband, yeah, crazy I know - lol, and he's dating the greatest gal!) had 2 little Valentine's Day gifts for me! One was a little basket with a stuffed kitty and some candies, and then a little heart box of chocolates! The basket was from my "work kitties" - her three that are there sometimes and I like to keep treats in my desk for them, so "they" had mommy shop for me ;) The little heart box was from her, she just wanted to do something nice for me since life has been so crazy for me lately.

Then, my employee called in (we sent him home early), talked to my partner then wanted to talk to me. Um, ok. I get on the phone and he asked me to stay at work until he and his girlfriend got there, *gulp*, ok. I am thinking bad things are happening etc... Well, he and got talking makeup one day, yeah, I know, a big burly guy and me chatting it up about makeup, but his girlfriend is a fanatic like me, lol. So, they come in and she has a little pkg for me - she loves dept store stuff, and like me can only afford Walmart, lol. But she splurges every now and then, and got me this great little pot of loose powder eye shadow, the Eye Shadow Primer Potion by Urban Decay and the little eyeliner brush to go with! :)

THEN! I get home and in the mail was a lovely little gift from our very own Mary here for my Birthday!!!! She's so wonderfully kind, I about flipped I was so excited!!!! It's a lovely long Tee with a kitty on it that says "I don't do mornings!" it's great (and so me!) and a pretty little necklace and earring set and some beautiful postcards! In fact, I am wearing the new necklace and earrings out tonight since I am making hubby take me out to dinner! THANK YOU Mary - you are soooooooo thoughtful, I am so glad I met you!!! Mwwwwwaaaaaaaah!:kiss:

So yeah, it's been the best not-quite-yet-my-Birthday EVER!!!!! Happy Birthday all you February babies - where should we have the party?? And who's bringing the cake?? :bonk:

I have always had this thing, even as a kid, where I hated to be late and everything had to be on time. Has gotten worse with age. When it was time for me to be born I made it to the hospital before my mom. Really...it's a true story....:wink:
