botox injections

Hello
Has anyone had botox injections in their bladder? Can you tell me what it is like? Has it helped with the pain, frequency and urgency?
My doctor has suggested it.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Botox is diferent for everyone. The first time I had it done. It was great I went from peeing 30 times aday to 8 to 10 and had no urge or frequency inbetween, and I could hold more. It only lasted 4 months. The second time it made me go into retention so bad that I have to cath everytime I need to go pee. It did decrease the frequency and urge. It only lasted about 3 months then I started to have a lot of spasms and pain. They did it again to get me out of the pain but this time they did it while I was awake with no pain meds. I was in so much pain I was screaming. I had it done this last time on Dec 24th and I am already starting with pain and it hasn't even been 2 months. so like I said it is different for everyone.
