I am totally bowled over by this. Have been taking just darvacet since yesterday. Normally I would be in so much pain by now and aching all over I would want to die but I"m not. The cymbalta is helping with the bladder and I don't have one aching pain in my body. :woohoo: I feel like I have a little bit more energy but I'm not dragging either. Going to stick with the 30 mgs. and see how it goes. The stomach pain was the only side effect I had with it so it will hopefully be smooth sailing from this point. I am so glad I gave it a try. :smile tee

Mary,
Great news!!!!!! How long have you been taking the cymbalta? And were you on other antidepressants before going on it? I was just wondering if a person can just go from one antidepressant to another and if it caused complication in any way? I was thinking about switching to cynbalta. I also heard it causes large weight gains?
Thanks, God bless

Mary, I have been taking the cymbalta since Saturday but I skipped it Sunday because of the stomach pain. It just amazes me how fast it is starting to help already. Still have a way to go mind/nerves wise but at least it is a good start. I had tried 3 others. Can't remember the first one but the other two were Zoloft and Celexa. I only waited 5 days before I started teh cymbalta but that was because I couldn't get it any time sooner. I heard you drop weight with Cymbalta. I sure hope I don't gain weight with but since I'm not sitting as much maybe I won't gain any. Keep my fingers crossed.
