I am not sure whether to be happy or upset! I just wish I had a CLUE what was going on with my body. I keep getting nauseated, throwing up, I get weird rashes on my face and body that ITCH like crazy and they tell me it's not Lupus, now it's not Celiac, what IS it?

My blood sugar was high and my potassium was low....says he's going to follow up on those on my next visit...also my cholesterol was a little high, not ridiculous though.

I'm just throwing up my hands because I am a medical mystery!! I WANT SOMEONE TO TELL ME WHY I GET RASHES AND VOMIT ALL THE TIME, WHY DO I HAVE ALL THIS PAIN, BLADDER ISSUES, IC?!?!?!?!!?

I'm a bit frustrated and tired of not knowing why my body is reacting like it is. The only thing left is Gastropersis (sp?) which would make sense for my stomach...but who knows? I see my gastro in 3 months so guess I'll ask him about that if I'm still vomiting. Til then I will live on Compazine which has more side effects than all my pain meds put together.

ARRRRRRRGH!

You are a mystery...In more ways than one. :lmao:

Seriously... I really am sorry that you don't have any real answers about this. It kinda reminds me of House MD. They keep doing tests and ruling out things. I bet you will be glad when the enlightenment comes like it always does in the last 10 minutes of the show. :)

I AM a mystery alright! LOL

I sure wish I could go see Dr. House sometimes!!! I really do. I mean I know I'm not imagining these rashes, Tom can see them....and they itch!! UGH! Anyway, thanks for the laugh! I really needed that today. :)

Well, that has to be so frustrating. I am sorry you are going through this. Just a thought....do you think your symptoms could be caused by your potassium level being low? I have low potassium also and I felt terrible. I thought I had the flu because I was so tired, felt achy, my calf was cramping, I felt nauseated, and I had no energy. I started taking potassium supplements and starting to eat foods that have lots of potassium in them. The cardiologist did two 24 hour urine tests and he said I also had protein in my urine but not enough for me to worry about.
I also broke out into a rash but I think it was from a generic blood pressure medication so I don't know if it had anything to do with the low potassium. It took me about 2 weeks to start feeling better after I started taking the potassium supplements. Did the doctor say anything about taking postassium?
I hope you find some answers soon and I hope you get to feeling better too :hi:

Oh I forgot to say that I am glad you don't have Celiac Disease.
