My chronic headaches have been going on since Feb. 07. A car accident that brought on whiplash was in Sept. 07, so now my neck is killing me. I feel like I'm falling apart. I currently have had a flare-up of migraine with nausea for a week now. If not nausea, then diarrhea and bladder spasms. Yeah, fun, huh? So far, no preventative meds have worked, and my physical therapist believes it's muscular and joint related more than nerve related. My new pain med doctor prescribed Lyrica and Lidoderm patches. He also is going to administer an occipital nerve block Feb. 14. I'd sure like to know if anyone with headache/migraine has tried Lyrica, the patches or the nerve block for feedback. I have to stop my Elmiron four days in advance and I'm kind of scared since it is working to keep that pain at bay and has been wonderful. Thanks in advance!
