I continued on Ditropan XL, Prevacid, Elmiron, and Ambien. I also had Tylenol #3 as needed for pain. I am lucky in that my normal IC levels do not require daily vicodin or somethng stronger and I didn't have to use it TOO frequently.
Trying to conceive was not to bad, other than trying to work out with the Drs what I could stay on and what was a deal breaker. And trying to accomodate for the extra sex, painwise. Once I was pregnant, I did not go into remission, but it was not intolerable either. I had to watch my diet and activity levels more carefully than before. It was managable for me though.
My frequency increased. Occassional pain/pressure increases. Urgenc wasn't TOO bad until the last few weeks. I slept less. It was do-able. I continued to work and live my life. I'm so happy I made that journey. We may even do it again. Eventually.
Hope that helps!
