Finally HOUSE is doing a bladder episode. Unfortunately they have not once mentioned IC! I am dissapointed. This would have been the episode that IC could have been spoken of.

I don't normally watch the show since my hubby hates watching anything health related eve if it isn't real. Was that the eposide that was on the other night where the child had a problem with his kidneys?

I am watching it right now. The weatherman just interupted. We are going to ave bad storms soon so the chance of watching the entire show is not good.

They have delayed showing both American Idol and House because of the tornadoes here in the Memphis area. They will show them in total later tonight. Hubby says he will tape them for me...Good Hubby!!!!!

I did see most of it. Not one mention of IC. I do wish they would have mentioned it and given a definition of it before saying why it did not fit her problem. That would have been great. Maybe there is a way to email and ask that they do that in the future.

I saw it too. It would be so nice to hear about IC just once on one of those shows. How can we get them to acknowledge IC?

It was about a woman who got married and started bleeding from her bladder. First thought in my mind was IC!

I too wish they would have mentioned it as a rule out just we could have heard the words IC.

I wanted it mentioned and then especially defined. That would bring awareness of the condition and what it is to so many.

I watched it also just hoping they would ! I think we have a better chance on Private Practice to have it mentioned! Maybe we should contact the writers about it!

they wont mention it because its too hard to pronounce! but i think it would be great to write to the writers of private practice and see if they would do episode on it. IC is such an underpublisized disease that soo many women could be suffering from it really does need some more attention!
