BETTY: Prelief in Canada??

Hi Betty,

Pursuant to the discussion here of the cost of Prelief and the even greater cost of getting the product to Canadians, do you know if there is any progress in having Prelief made availabe in Canada? Any help would be greatly appreciated because the cost to me is almost three times greater than what it is in the U.S. with the additional exchange rate and the delivery charge. Thanks.

We have not made any progress with getting Prelief approved for sale in Canada.

Although we are a dietary supplement, Canada Health does not like the name Prelief; they feel it sounds like a drug.

I'm from Quebec and they told me that's because Prelief could be mistaken with Prelieve (a medication sold for PMS )

We are familiar with Prelieve (which I do not think is available any longer).

However Canada Health has never mentioned this to us; we have been told that the Prelief name sounds like 'relief' which implies a drug.
