My whole house is sick!

My oldest came home from college for the weekend and he was SO sick with a high fever, vomiting, sore throat, cough, the works. He was getting a bit better by Sunday afternoon when he left but now he's got a really bad cough I'm scared is going into pneumonia.

My youngest, whose birthday is today woke up with a 103.9 degree fever, same symptoms, my daughter who had her b-day on Monday woke up with 100.2 fever. Me, I woke up more sore than normal and my skin hurts. Took MY temp earlier and it's 102!!! I feel like _ _ _ _ !!!!!! I'm so scared with all my health problems that this is going to be very hard on me. I already feel horrible, what is tomorrow going to bring?

Sooooooooooo, everyone but Tom is sick and he came home armed with a package of Airborn hoping to ward this off. I really hope he stays well, we need him around here.

I feel so bad for my youngest. He turns 13 today and he is miserable. Some birthday!

Gentle (((hugs))) coming your way. It really does work this way, though. When someone brings a bug into the house, it takes up residence for awhile. I hope Tom is resistant to it and that everyone gets better, soon.

((HUGS)) to everyone! Send Tom to the Mariott LOL. Bay just had that and her cough did turn to pneumonia last week, she still sounds horrid. Hope everyone feels better soon. Somehow the rest of us just got colds and mild cough out of it.

Oh, I soooo know how you feel Sandy! I had to take the oldest Logan to the dr yesterday for pretty much the exact same symptoms. He had a 103 fever when I took him to the dr, throwing up, coughing really bad and sore throat. Griffin has a running nose, sneezing and coughing. Shane is recovering well from his gallbladder surgery but just feels really worn down and thinks he is getting what is going around the house. MIL is still recovering from her total knee replacement. We are a mess around here. I thought my throat was starting to feel sore a little earlier but I'm hoping not. I really can not afford to be sick. I gotta drive the three hours round trip to go see my dr on Thursday for a very early 8:45am appointment. The dr actually told me last night that Logan has the "junk" that's going around town. I said does this "junk" have a more technical name, lol, he said upper respertory infection. I had to laugh at that one.

Boy, whatever this 'junk' is you guys have going on, it sounds rough!

I found myself leaning further & further away from the monitor as I read about it!

Thank god its my day off cause i wouldn't be able to call in! my shayn & skyler are home sick. Shayn has sore throat & temp! sky just doesn't feel well, kind of think she hates going to school without her little brother! we have a appt at 1130 with dr.

I'm home from work, I'm sick too. :( Should I just crawl over onto your couch? I'm sorry to hear about 13 YO son. I'm always sick in and around my B-day....cold season I guess. I hope everybody gets better soon....those temps are really high, that's just gotta be the pits! :(

I know that around here, Strep is running rampant and everyone wants to rip their throats out. Lets all hope we all get better soon, birthday cake tastes much better when you can actually taste it! :D

Oh, Sandy, that's awful. I hope you can re-schedule the 13 year old's birthday -- just declare that his birthday is going to be on, say, Feb 9 this year, and celebrate then!

We're going to have cake, etc this weekend and hope we're all feeling better by then. Neither one of them went to school today and we all laid around like a bunch of lumps. If we're not substantially better by tomorrow I'm making doctor's appts for us. I feel SO weak and tired. I fell asleep in the bathtub for what must have been an hour because my water was cold when I woke up.

UGH! When it rains it pours doesn't it?

I'm sorry so many of you are sick as well...this is some serious crud going around. Tom's daughter ate with us on Monday night at a restaurant and she sat next to Adam and now she's sick too. It's HIGHLY contagious whatever it is...so far Tom is fine and the kid's Dad is fine too...knock on wood!

Sorry the house is sick...This stuff must be going around everywhere...Its here to. Taylor has something last week. She said in one day she heard a teacher saying they had 3 pages of absences at her school...The flu is going around like crazy. Seems worse this year, more than normal...

Well, my daughter went back to school yesterday but is home today with a 102 degree fever and severe sore throat. Our ped's office is open on Sat mornings so if her throat isn't better by then I'm running her over there for a strep test. My son has been so sick to his stomach and just weak all over. He missed 4 days of school this week which has put him over the 12 day limit and now he's got to do recovery to make up some of that time so he can go on to 8th grade. The poor little guy just has the worst stomach. He's been to a gastro and he said IBS, but sometimes I wonder with my Crohn's...I get scared something else might be going on in that stomach of his.

I'm better.....well, I was til I went grocery/stuff shopping at the super walmart today and now I'm slap worn out!!!! I can barely move. To top that off I started my period and just want to crawl on the couch and snuggle with my kids and doggies!

Thanks for all the well wishes and I hope all of you and your families are doing better by now!

ya gotta be careful because bronchitis is going around over in nj!!! I had it for a month and a half!!! terrible, just getting back to my normal self and my period is coming. augh its always something.
