The Hoover Dam! Those pillar things above their heads in the 4th pic is the highway that was supposed to be done a few years ago.

The first two pics relate to what we did in Arizona. Technically we had crossed the border. Hubby smoking and me coming out of the 'Little girl's room'!!:smile tee That was the only thing we did in AZ.

The next two pics are of Hoover Dam. Kuntrygirl is right. Those huge pillars are actually for the huge bridge that will eventually be completed to drive over the dam. This is being built to channel traffic another route so we 'as people' can't drive directly over the dam anymore. Gotta thank the terrorists for that........but it probably is a good idea anyway. I'm sure the road we go over into AZ now will stay in function just for mainenance purposes.
Sharon pointed out how low the water level is. We were told Nevada is in an extreme drought and the water is 128+feet below normal levels. It was really amazing.

The very last pic is me feeding the huge machine.......Jess, this is why I played it.....cause it was so big! Hubby fed it a $20 and I won close to $200 but he kept telling me to feed it more, that "it was going to pay big' and I just wanted to cash out, come home and say I won something! Did I?? NO!!!!!! I won't listen to him next time!:)
