.....embarassing question...???

Ok, well this is a little embarassing but maybe someone will have an answer or know what I am talking about.
It seems when I am having pretty intense pelvic pain that my bladder tends to leak just a little bit. Does this have anything to do with IC or maybe more to do with the fact that I had a baby 7 mos ago? Anyone know or have experienced the same?

it could be a pelvic floor muscle problem. it's common after a vaginal birth, to have weaker pelvic floor muscles, which allows for urine to leak. ask you uro or gynocologist about this. they can help you learn to strengthen the muscles back up.

I would have to agree about the PFD and you really need to talk to your Dr about this..

Does your bladder spasm? Leakage could be caused from that along with the possibility of PFD. It's time to talk with a doctor about this. :)

I really have no idea what a bladder spasm feels like. I just know this seems to happen when I am having a lot of pain in my pelvic area/lower back and upper thighs.

I guess I will talk to the doc when I go next time. Thanks Ladies.

For me, a spasm feels like a quick, clenching pain that takes my breath away. I usually grab my belly area and lean into the pain. It really doesn't last very long but is very painful.

Then, yes, I do experience pains like that. I was having a lot of those the other evening when I noticed this again and thought to ask about it.
