I posted my upcoming marriage on the "Illinois" board awhile back, but I want to share with others that this is possible! A year and 1/2 ago(after getting IC), I never thought I'd even be able to have a decent relationship again.
But now I work 5 days a week, and I'm getting married in 7 1/2 weeks!
Yes, I still get bad days, and flare ups, but with careful diet, yoga, and occasionly making teas out of comfrey root, etc...I'm managing this illiness. I really believe that many others can and will too. I'm currently off all meds too. Sometimes it seems they build up and make symptoms worse.
Anyways, keep hoping, and reaching and don't give into this IC! Great things are still possible!
