My Tante Lenore (my aunt) died today. I will be traveling with my sister to the funeral. So, I'll be away from the boards at least until Friday, possibly longer. So if you PM me, please forgive any delayed responses!
We are sad, but she was 82, widowed, and very ill, and we could see it was her time. Although she struggled with paranoid schizophrenia on and off for many years, she was able to raise three sons, she had six grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter who is two years old now, whom she saw often. Her life was hard but filled with blessings. I am so glad that I saw her last year in the nursing home, and spent some really good time with her. She was cheerful, talkative, and completely lucid, and someone brought in a puppy that made her laugh and laugh. That's a good last memory.
May she rest in peace.
