alternative aloe vera?

Has anyone out there tried battling their IC with a form of Aloe Vera that isn't from Desert Harvest? I would love to try it, but I'm in college and the price is way too steep for me.

I recently went to a health food store near me and picked up a bunch of stuff to help with flares, and saw a bottle of powdered Aloe Vera leaves in capsules. It doesn't say whole leaf, which I know is an essential part of DH's approach, but I bought it anyway because it only cost me $20.

Has anyone tried another form of Aloe like this? Did anyone have any success with it?

Yes. My experience is that Desert Harvest helps more but that others have helped me too when money is tight they are still an option for some of us. I doubt I tried the same one you bought but I have varied what I take at times and although I notice a difference some times it isnt so big that when finances aren't friendly that I wouldn't make the choice. Don't know if that will help you since we are all different but that is my experience.
