Proud of My Bladder..lol

I figured I would post this because I know we do not hear this often.. But I have been sick with the crud these last few days.. Sore throat, cough, running nose and fever. I think I got it in the ER when we took Doms dad there were alot there with it and none of my family has had it..

So anyhow I started antibotics and just knew for sure my bladder was going to be next and start flaring..But to my amazement it is giving me a break..lol

I do want to add this. Since I have had to cut down my Elmiron because of hair loss, I decided to try the Glucosamine Sulfate and seem to be having great results:smile tee

Just thought I would share that sometimes are bladder can behave..Even when all other parts of our body is not...lol

Oh how I love hearing that, lol! I bet our bladders feel bad because we don't praise them when they do something good ;) Tell your bladder I said keep up the good behavior!

That's so great Ronda! :woohoo: I know I had a similiar experience where everybody in my house was sick and I ALWAYS get what everyone else gets and I was so proud of my body for keeping me healthy for once. I hope you start to get over all the other yucky flu stuff you've got going on soon.

Thanks all.. Had to switch antibotics because the one I was on was not getting rid of this sore throat. Its the BAD one Augmentin..LOL We will see just how my bladder does now..lol keeping fingers crossed..

What was the first antibiotic you were taking? I have found many times that taking abx is helpful to my bladder. Now I take macrobid 100mg once a day every day. The last time I was sick I took amoxicillin and it seemed to give me some bladder relief as well! Don't now why.....but heres hope that the augmentin will help those nasty bladder symptoms!

Yikes, I hope that Augmentin doesn't hurt your bladder. Grr frustrating when you have to switch from something that doesn't irritate to something that has the potential to.
