Flare from Golytely?

Has anyone ever gotten a flare from that stuff? It's what they give you to flush out your system before a colonoscopy. I'm getting one done on monday and I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a flare from that stuff.

I don't really remember having a flare from the golytely stuff but i do remember having a flare from the barium tests and the dye they use in an angiogram....
But i have had in the past with certain laxatives and such so maybe it is from that.....:toilet:
or just the stress of going through the prep for the colonoscopy.....sometimes just the stress of a test like that can get ya......:loco:
i know just having diarrhea effects my bladder....usually at the end i get a flare up so it could be something like that......:toilet::toilet::bonk::loco:

It didn't bother my IC at all, but I did find I needed to stay beside the bathroom. I just took a comfortable chair and a book and spent several hours in the bathroom. Then I went to bed totally exhausted from a combination of fasting and diarrhea.

I'm trying to remember if that is the one I had to use in March or if it was a generic, but I did not use the flavor packet. It contained nothing but ingredients I couldn't pronounce and it only came in orange and lime...yuck!

I hope your flare goes away soon!
