Ok, I have to admit I'm excited. I HATED snow when I lived in MN for a year, 2 blizzards and I was done with that state...loved the city, hated the snow and cold.....but a couple inches with sleet and freezing rain means a snuggly day by the fire with my kids watching movies all day long, hot chocolate, etc. I don't know how bad it will be by morning but it's coming down pretty good right now.
I know my kids are hoping like crazy they'll get a snow day! So am I actually! :)

Enjoy your snow day :hi:

Get this...it snowed for about 30 minutes in ALABAMA yesterday!! We all ran out to get our milk and bread but it didn't last long...it was back to work as usual today...DANG! (When it snows here, everything shuts down!)

I would rather have snow than what they are predicting for us this weekend. We are under a wind chill warning for the weekend. -25 to -35 windchills.
We've even had to adjust things at work for the cold. We normally keep the produce trailers at 45 in the winter. Weve changed it to 48 so that things dont get too cold. We also have our maintence staff coming out and double checking the trucks today. We have trouble with the cold gel-ing up our fuel filters. Trucks cant run with the fuel filters that way.
Cold weather like this just causes us more work. Im glad you are enjoying your rare sight of snow.:)

No snow here... but we are expected to get some pretty nasty weather here- (thats what I heard anyway, haven't seen anything really to make me belive it, but icy conditions are headed our way later tonight/early tomorrow morning. Supposed to get in the low 30's. All I can say is that Texas weather is unpredicatable(?) and we just never know what its going to do (last year at this time we spent 3 days stuck in the house because of an ice storm so everyone is remembering that. I say it won't happen till the end of the month, as usually end of Jan. or early Feb. is when it hits hard here.

We only had about 2 inches but they called school off that day because the roads were not in the best of shape in parts of the county. By noon everything was passable, but we're in the South and the city shuts down! I was shocked though because we've got a bunch of new trucks, plows, etc since our last real snowstorm which was about a foot a few years ago. THAT was a mess.
It's raining now and supposed to start snowing again any time now and Tom and I are alone as my kids are at their Dads house for a couple days....I'm looking forward to being 'snowed in'!! :)
