How do I post pictures?

The easiest way for me was to create a photo bucket account. There is know cost and downlowd pictures to it from your computer. Then resize it and copy the URL and copy and paste it to you sig or post..

Okay, one last question. I have copied and pasted it and the URL link is showing up on my signature. Okay, so now how to get the photo show up. Lastly, I can figure out how to use it as my avaitor. Thanks for all the help I will be a pro at this now.

Ok first of all only Moderators and Supermods and Donna and Jill can put a picture as their Avatar..

But you can add a pict to your sig..

And when you paste the link and submit it. It should show up..

I'm so sorry, but the only ones who can use a personal picture for a aviator are Jill, the Admin, Super Moderators and Moderators. I am looking forward to the picture you are going to use in your signature. Remember to keep it small so it will not take so long to download for our dial up members.

I downsized it in the photbucket but you do see the URL coming up under my signature? How do I get that into a picture

Sorry for all the questions. I did that and then a huge link was posted at the bottom so I don't know what I am doing wrong. When I post the URL at least you could click on it. I guess I could just leave that there. Sorry to bother you will all of this. You were just the luck person that answered my thread :)

You are No bother.. really I tried logging into my photo bucket account to walk you through it.. It wouldnt let me.. only other one there is is the IMG code.. try that one.. We will get this !!..lol

I am sitting here ROLLING in laughter when this HUGE thing popped up. Maybe I am adding some humor to your day! Well at least I got the picture on there so obviously I did not downsize it right....any tips on that. Thank you and promise not to ask any more questions.......:loco:

You will have to delete that one on here and go to photo bucket and resize it and save then recopy the IMG CODE..lol

Yes, when I went to the photobucket and even sized it down to thumbnail which looked tiny it still popped up big. I had to go run some errands so I am going to work on it and see what happens.

I asked this question a while back and also got the photobucket response so today, I decided to check it out.. It wants my cell phone number and will not proceed without me putting a valid cell number in!!!! I don't feel comfortable giving out my cell phone number! Is there any other way???

Donna--this is something I've never heard of before re: Photobucket..:hmm:

OK--I just opened a new account on Photobucket and entered an invalid cell number--it worked just fine.
So, if you're uncomfortable entering your real number, make something up..haha..worked for me! :)

I also made up one. I think if u look in top right corner u can click on something 2 proceed without entering a cell#

Yup you can hit proceed... Or just give a bogus number..lol

it won't let me put in a fake number because it sends a PIN necessary to complete the registration to the number that u put in. I cannot create a new account without a valid cell number.

Donna--you're having issues w/Photobucket that I never had--even with setting up a new account yesterday just to see what was going on. I entered the phone number for information and it worked fine. I was never prompted that I'd be sent a PIN; it just proceeded to my upload page.

My suggestion would be to start over completely. Or if you'd like. PM me and I'll attempt to set up an acct for you. You could then go back and change your password for security purposes.

Hope you get it squared away soon.
