I haven't had much of a chance to talk to my uro/gyn. I live 1 hr. and 15 min away from any gyn. The town I live in only has family practioners. They deliver babies at the local hospital. They delivered my last one. Should I consider driving that far or would a family practioner do? http://www.ic-network.com/ubb/confused.gif
thanks for the advice,
Kris

Kris,
It sounds like you already have a family practioner who is familiar with you and that's great. OB/GYN's aren't necessary...you should go wherever you are most comfortable. http://www.ic-network.com/ubb/smile.gif The key is to keep open communication with whoever you see. Ask questions, share you concerns, etc!

Thanks, I was just trying to decide what to do. I was very lucky my dr. sent me to a uro. after only about 3 months of symptoms. My uro. then diagnosed me with IC. I have had great treatment the whole time. I feel very lucky. I wish everyone could have been diagnosed so quickly.
Thanks,
Kris
