Hi friends,

Just a reminder, it is WONDERFUL to post recipes here if they are primarily IC friendly. Unfortunately, I had to delete a brownie recipe that looked wonderful, but it suggested a lot of ingredients that most IC patients have problems with (chocolate, artificial sweeteners, etc.)

Try to double check your ingredients against the IC Diet list posted here at ICN, ok?

Other than that, please keep posting recipes! We need all the help we can get when it comes to IC friendly foods! Thanks!

Sometimes it can be difficult to find recipes that are IC friendly --- so we try to monitor the ones posted to be sure they are IC friendly. I would truly love a real brownie, but it just isn't worth the consequences.

Hugs,
Donna

I always look forward to reading another "IC friendly" recipe. The more the better. After all, I have to eat, too. :)

I agree also, I even have posted this may not be friendly to all bladders if the ingredients are questionable. That way people may realize that this may not be bladder friendly to everyone if it is on the maybe list.

Mmmmmm, I love recipes - oh heck, I just love food! ;) But, I have been around the IC Diet block and know what I can and can't tolerate at a glance - but for new people, the diet is confusing sometimes and they may not recognize something as questionable - and think since it was posted, it must be ok - and end up in bladder heck! ;)

But please that doesn't mean don't share - I'm with Sharon, I gotta eat too!! :)
