I am proud of myself! I have been! I usually say "I'll lose weight" and then I go curl up on the couch and vegetate lol. Well I get up every morning, whether I like to or not lol, I do Pilates and then hop on my treadmill. I've lost a lot so far (I've been at this since the ex left, nothing like a new lease on life to motivate you!) and I intend to keep it up. I feel so much more energetic and mentally I feel better.

How are you resolutioners doing??

Me, me, me!!! *she says while waving her arm in the air* Of course the only reason why I am sticking to them is that I didn't make any. :lmao:

Up till a few years ago i would make a couple but by March I would have broke them all, so for the last 2 years i haven't made any - this way, if I don't make them, I don't break them!!!

Who you callin' a party pooper! :D <j/k>

GREAT THREAD JESS!

Well my resolution has been a year-round one....I'm trying to lose weight....despite the meds I am/was on have different ideas.

I joined Weight watchers in Sept and gained 14 pounds ::::shakes head:::: well I'll scrap that and start over...Kadi suggested sparkpeople so I'm excited again to look into that :)

I've been going to the gym 2x/ week with the trainer...all weights...
Cardio is on my own all the other days.... the people at the gym have been cheering me on....so I feel obligated to show up....not sure if that's good or bad, but I do leave sweaty. :p

And so far, no table sugar....man this is freakin' brutal!

My small goal: to fit into smaller ski pants by Feb. 8, 2008. We've got a *girlie weekend* planned to go skiing in NH. I already told the trainer I don't want to wear fat-girl-pants....we'll see.....

So I've got a month kids! I'm excited to see SandyRN is doing the discovery health Challenge and am curious/excited to see her progress. *YAY SANDY*

Hey jess- I have kept mine!!! It has been soooo hard though. Mine was to give up Diet coke and all pop. I was addicted. I havent had a drop! I was hoping for a change in frequency which I havent really seen as of yet- but I am still hoping. Great job with the working out! I have a treadmill too, just got it in Dec, I used to go to the gym alot but I hate going out in the cold! Anyway, I am hopping on it an night as much as I can. It hasnt gone too well these past couple weeks because I have been feeling kinda sick, but on healthy days I am doing good. I ran 4 miles Monday!! :) I hope to get some good time in tonight too.
