Hydro/Cysto Results

Well, the hydro/cysto concluded that I have IC. I could only hold 900 cc's of liquid and my bladder lining showed hemmorhages. I haven't met with my uro to get a total account of what she saw - I just know what she communicated to my boyfriend after the procedure.

I'm glad to finally know for sure that I have IC. It's a relief to have a diagnosis. I'm not sure what the next step will be since I've already done the 6 months of Elmiron and elimination diet without any pain relief, but I do have a lot of confidence in my uro and am sure she will have a plan in place.

Thanks again for all of the wonderful support I get from this forum. I don't know what I would do without all of you! :grouphug:

I know this sounds crazy but congrats on your diagnosis. There is valuable info your uro has uptained from your hydro/cysto and now you can be on the road to recovery. It is horrible to get the diagnosis but I remember the great relief that I felt knowing that I knew what it was and would be able to treat it. It's so great you have a uro you trust, that will go far in the treatment process. Good luck. :grouphug:
