I was wondering about Johnny's seasoning, can we use it? I am brand new to the diet and we were thinking a chicken/rice cassarole w/ rice and cream of celery soup. What do you guys think? Or what should I season chicken w/? I'm really struggling for ideas.

Hmmm, I used to be good for a week so I could have marinara (like a tbsp, lol) on Sundays with my Prelief! ;)

Oh, not sure what's in Johnny's seasoning, so I can't really say yay or nay ;)

With any seasonings please watch for MSG in it, this seems to cause alot of ICers to flare.

The label can also read "Natural Flavoring". That is usually MSG.

If you are planning on using canned soup on your chicken, make sure you read the label on the can. I think it might have MSG as an ingredient. If you are not sure if MSG is a trigger, you might consider scarping the sauce off of your piece of chicken after it is cooked along with cooking rice in separate pan for yourself.

Have you taken a look at this book? It is available in the ICNShop.

My cheat food is bananas. I can usually eat maybe 1 per week, unfortunately I eat the whole bunch. Therefore, I do not buy them for the house. Sorry family...no control when it comes to bananas.:loco:
