If you can get through "making the baby" I have heard that pregnancy can really put you into remission. One of my doctors actually asked if I could try and get pregnant to put me into remission.

I would think timing is everything. Know when the best times to concieve are and work around that. I have heard the same thing about pregnantcy helping in remission. Not a good reason to have a baby but a huge plus if you are already thinking about it. There is a tread located here that talks all about having sex and IC. There you'll find the best advice on helping that area. Good luck to you both!!!!!!!!!Who knows, you might find joy in the making of babies again.

My dr mentioned that too! That with alot of women IC goes into remission when pregnant AND sometimes will never come back???
Now wouldn't that be a miracle baby...:)
I will have to just pray we can make it happen on the right days to concieve...

Chart your BBT!!! Then you can see which days you are ovulating and that way, you can have sex the days that really count! :) Good luck!

I personally never had any trouble getting pregnant, and my IC was better while I was pregnant and nursing:)

You can also try an at home ovulation test kit. We tried for two years to get pregnant. My Gyno wants to put me on Clomid so we can get pregnant fast so I don't have to suffer the pain while trying however I don't think I want to risk the chance for multiples either :smile tee

I am currently pregnant and going trough pretty stressful classic 1st trimester. (Classic fears every pregnant woman goes too).
Hoping for the best..I am in 7th week and praying to get to 13th week safely.
But one thing is for sure: NO IC SYMTHOMS. NONE. NEVER FELT BETTER.
It was interesting since I apperently did not ovulate all the time so we though it will be quite hard. I am 35 also.
Still, got pregnant after 3 months of semi-trying..
So now, as far IC - it is gone totally. I don't even go to bathroom often and probabaly even less then women without IC. (3-4 times a day)
