Ta Da!!! I am done & Snowing on Q!!

Merry Christmas All!

My long day is done...just finished stuff the stockings and it started snowing just as I sat down to turn off my computer. So I had to share, me, an ICer, actually pulled off a wonderful Christmas for my family. And I can't beleive it, we are going to have a white Christmas! That hasn't happened in over 10 years.

I am so proud of all of us, who live with this awful disease, to have prepared a great Christmas for our families. I was reading Griffs Mommy's post earlier as I was looking for receipes on how to cook a Prime Rib (I always seem to get distracted to the Boards!:rolleyes:) and she was saying what a long day it was but she did it. And from the sounds of it, did it well!

Well I am off to bed after being up almost 24 hours. I had an awful flare last night and couldn't sleep well. Then I ran my butt off all day long getting the last minute details done and having 12 people over for dinner. I just love when I can actually beat this IC, even for a day, so I can lead a normal life!!!

Merry Christmas to you Betsy! You are a blessing and love your perspective on IC. You said it just right.....when we can battle a day of IC and live a normal life even if it is just for one day then that is a reason to celebrate.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! That was very inspiring! I had just posted on another thread how I feel in such good spirit this year on Christmas for the many things I have to be thankful for! I have been non stop since yesterday, I did all the cooking, all the baking, all the wrapping and I enjoyed every minute of it! Didn't feel the best last night, but I was ok this morning and up to cook the turkey!
