E-mailed Oprah!!

Hi All!!
I e-mailed Oprah thru her magazine "o" today. I asked if they would publish an article I have written on IC. I told her that we desperatly need to get the word out. I told them that I didn't want money, I just wanted to help people understand and recognize IC. :D Lets all pray and keep our fingers crossed that they do it!!!

I sure hope that they print your article. I learned about IC from a magazine. It saved me from accepting an incorrect diagnosis from my first uro.

Great!!! We should all send her an email about ic!!! She covers such a wide range of health isses on her show at times and we could use her as a vehicle to let the world know about ic!!! :eek:

I sure hope Oprah publishes your article too. We need everyone to know about IC. I know there are many women out there who have IC and don't know it because their doctors can't figure out what it wrong. I've read that IC is much more common than people once thought.

THANKS to all my IC friends for all your support!!!!!!! Tex-Brenda what I did was I went to www.Oprah.com (http://www.Oprah.com) and then clicked on Like to Contribute to "O" and when that screen came up I clicked on We Hear You. Then a screen comes up where you put your name, address ect and type what you want to say! :D

Great Idea Shel, I also found an article about IC 10yrs. ago. When I went to my Uro
and he couldn't find anything wrong I asked
him to do a cystscopic and he saw I had a
very unusal looking bladder. Followed it with
a biopsy and it was determined I had IC.
Can't believe after such a amount of time,
so little is known about it. Especially in
mY area 'SLOWER LOWER DELAWARE'
