I woke up this morning with a migraine behind my left eye, a sore throat and stuffy head. My whole body is swollen too. I had a call from the anesthesia department wanting to do my pre-anesthesia check list. I told the woman I was sick today but was still doing my prep for the colonoscopy. She was very thorough and made notes to my chart so that if I'm still sick tomorrow they can address this.

I just can't win for losing sometimes....but I'm trucking along. Took my first round of the osmoprep pills and almost brought them all back up but took a compazine and managed to get hold of the nausea.

Ohhhhhhh, I just want this to be over. I feel better having anesthesia call me today because last time they didn't even bother! She asked me about all my meds and noted that I will come in there in withdrawl tomorrow morning and noted demerol to be given on front of my chart and why.

So, other than being sick with whatever this is things do seem better organized. Now let the pooping marathon begin!

Oh Sandy...I don't know what to say. All I keep doing is shaking my head in disbelief. You are sick on top of being sick. I am so sorry.

It seems you can't win no matter what you do. Take things easy for a while and rest. Good luck with the potty trips too. Been there done that and I know it will not be fun. Here is hoping you get to feeling better. :kissing:

I'm sure your stress level is stuck to the ceiling right now. I just hope you can have your tests done tomorrow.

Warm hugs,
Donna
