Disability/Medicaid Questions IN CO

Does anyone know anything about getting disability and/or medicaid or anything that will help if I lose my job due to missing so much work? I am in Fort Collins, CO and am 26, any help appreciated!

I am not sure how you apply for medicaid. If you work now and have insurance from your employer you can opt to take that for up to 18 months. IT is called Cobra. If you resign they will offer you cobra and you pay the full premium for your benefits.......... it is expensive. I would google medicaid or call your local health dept and ask them who in your county to call and they possibly could hook you up with a caseworker- social worker who would definatley know the answers to medicaid.
