Aloe Vera Juice?

So I've seen many people recommend aloe vera capsules, so my mom went to go get me some. However, the guy at the natural foods store recommended aloe vera juice (Something about it being more powerful). I'm concerned because of the citric acid in it (one of my mega no-nos), plus I tend to have a low tolerance of juices of any kind. Fortunetly I've got a large break in school after this week, but I'd like to know if anyone has tried the juice and if it caused any flares, especially people who are acid intolerant like me.

I would not personally try the juice it can be very acidic. I take the desert harvest aloe vera which you can buy from the ICN shop. i am doing well on them.

I use the juice...... I have used it often for different conditions....... stomach pain, anal fissures..............

I have been drinking it for several days..... so far no problem..........

I don't know what kind your mom got you............ but I buy the kind the clear big jug................. you can get it at K-mart.......... or Wal-Mart...........

I bet she got you the kind in the white bottles......... that kind of look like shampoo bottles. I have never used that kind simply b/c it works more like a laxative than the other kind.

I am not a doctor------- and can't say why the pills would be okay------ but the juice be bad...... dunno........ I mean if I take vitamin C pills, i die......... if I drink orange juice, I die............

If you got the kind in the big jug, I started off with 1/2 a cup............. and when everything was okay........... i increased it to 1 cup.
